As I’m soon to graduate I can’t help but look back on my time here at Campus Ambassadors(CA). I remember when I was a SUNY Oneonta freshman looking for a Christian community that was genuine and would help me grow. I was nothing more than a baby Christian but I knew that I wanted God in my life. I remember thinking the first time I went to a meeting and thinking that everyone there was crazy. CA isn’t just a place where one can learn about God, discuss the hard questions, or just be an escape from college life; but it’s also a place where you can get to know and be known. And that’s what scared me when I first walked through the door. In fact, people were so nice and caring that that first meeting was my last for almost two months. But as I explored other Christian outlets I realized that what I needed most was a community, and was to be known. Campus Ambassadors was the best place for that. I not only gained the Christian ministry I needed, but I gained a family. People who have seen me at my best and my worst and loved and guided me all the same. Although my time at CA is coming to an end, the wisdom and friendship I gained will last a lifetime.
